Harvey is starting to talk !!!!! he sat in bed saying nanny for an hour this morning im well chuffed also had dada mum and lots of general chatting so were getting there were so proud love u harvey keep it up xxx

NEARLY 4 MONTHS ON !!

Havent updated for a while seems like only last week we was in Germany !!
Well Harvey is doing brilliantly he is starting to walk on his own in his kaye walker which is great as he has more independance and freedom this is all Harvey craves so were soo happy.
also the speech is getting there Harvey said nana twice today and is babbling and more vocal hes also becoming less shy with it as i picked him up from school tuesday and they said he had been chatting away through the afternoon .
Also another big Improvment is his balance in Standing he is more confident and eager to climb up to furniture and is even managing standing independantly for a couple of seconds with no support so Big improvments have happened since the last blog I did 7 weeks ago.
Harvey is still recieving private physio 2 x a week private speech and language 1 x a week and conductive education 1 x a week as well a horse riding and swimming when we can fit it in were very busy bees !!
Were so thankful we found The Xcell Center in Germany and gave Harvey this chance in life and were also very grateful to all of the people who made this possible
It was not a CURE but has definatly helped Harvey along.
Well I shall keep you all updated and thanks again to all of you for your help.

6 WEEKS AFTER XX

Well its been 6 weeks and Harvey is still progressing very well his private physio and nhs physio have noticed improvements.
He is standing alot more symetrical and even weight bearing on both legs alot of the time which has resulted in better posture so its a big improvement.
He is also babling alot more so speech is coming he starts private speech and language therapy next week so he is a very busy little boy and im a very busy mum lol!!!
I am hoping there is more to come it has only been 6 weeks and things are looking very good so fingers crossed things continue xxxxx

4 Weeks After things are looking GOOD !!!

Well things are going very well Harvey has made some really good improvements everyone has noticed improved awareness/interest in things he is happy to play on his own with toys now and cover the floor in them lol and is interacting very well in games ie taking turns playing ball pointing to things when asked what is what and the cutest thing is I asked him yesterday who is Harvey Telford he looked at me gave the biggest grin and patted his chest to say its me mummy silly loved it so much.
His physical side is showing improvements to as he is extending his legs when he is in kneeling position and starting to get to standing all on his own bless him hes so proud and so are we.
He is also walking alot better and did so just holding only one of my hands i was soo shocked as he didnt have the strength for this before.
As you can see we have seen alot of improvements and were thrilled at how much progress we have seen and so is Harvey !!!
Again I want to say a BIG thankyou to all that helped us raise the money to go back to Germany for his second stem cell treatment we will be forever grateful.
Will update again soon hopefully with some more great news xxxxx

its been neary 2 weeks

Since we have been back and we have noticed Harvey is much more alert and interested in things hes more nosier lol and a massive achievment Harvey stood on his own for 2 seconds yesterday which is AMAZING !!! Hopefully theres more to come will keep you posted on how things progress xxx

well what can i say Harvey was a very brave little boy and there were no side effect from the lumbar puncture not even sickness !! So all went really well.
I am so glad this is over with feels like a weight of my shoulders even though I knew what to expect there was a chance of complications someone is watching over our little man I am so proud of him and hope he gains more independance from this lot of stem cells ....
I will keep you all posted on any progress xxxx

Stem Cells Have been re injected what a relief

Well all is done thankgod my stomach was churning like mad this morning I was so nervous.
Harvey went down at 8am english time and was out by 8-15 and all went well 9.7million stem cells were injected with 94.5% vitality which is really good it wasnt as may as last time but still a very high amount.
We are back at hotel now and Harvey is eating and watching peppa pig !! No sickness yet so fingers crossed he wont get it like last time.
We shall be spending the day in today as Harvey should rest for 24hrs this is not going to be easy he doesent sit still ever.

Were Here In Germany

Well were here Harvey loved the flight I hated it so as I thought !!
Harvey had his stem cells extracted yesterday and all went well apart from the doctor who was doing the procedure was 2hrs late Harvey was not a happy boy as he couldnt eat or drink because of the general anesthetic.
We are now booked in for tomorrow at 9am for the stems cells to be put back in via lumbar puncture,this is going to be a hard day as Harvey has to lay still for 3hrs after and rest for the next 24 hrs.
Fingers crossed all goes well and there is not alot of sickness.
We will also find out how many stem cells Harvey has this time were hoping for as good as last time as he had 18 million which was excellent.

2 Days to go and we shall be in Germany for Harveys 2nd lot of Adult Stem Cell Treatment.
Even though we know what to expect I am very nervous and just want it to go aswell as last time.
Harvey as ever is such a brave little boy and is excited for the plane journey!
Im not I officially hate flying.
I will keep you all posted on how the treatment goes,he will have the stem cells extracted at 8am on weds 28th April and re injected on fri 30 the April.
